Bringing in the LIGHT 💙

This Friday, the month of December will begin and the Hebrew Month of Kislev! This month, for so many religions, symbolizes light, miracles, festivities, holidays, family gatherings, a break and just BLISS.

From this Friday on, I’d like to focus on that: on LIGHT. Light can be there, with easy access for us to tough, to feel and embrace, but in many instances, light is a choice, something we fight for, something we choose…a mindset!

We no longer live in an era where miracles are tangible and right in front of our eyes like in the days of Moses, Jesus, Buddha, to name a few. We live in an era where G’d’s existence down in the living world is a matter of seeing the signs, connecting the dots, choosing to FOLLOW THE LIGHT.

I’ve included 2 images relating to signs, to connecting the dots, to light and miracles.

Above is as the picture explains, a mezuzah ( the blessing on a door, in every Jewish home), found by a solider fighting in Gaza, with an engraving of an Oil Flask, a symbol to the Jewish people, so timely, right before the holiday of Hanukkah, where a flask as such, was lasting miraculously 8 days, with oil which was believed to last only one day!!! Someone is watching….the universal truth, blended with much prayer from all over the world, had come together to send a sigh…to connect the dots of grief and horror into hope and LIGHT!!!

Below is a picture of a boy who came back home, right on time for his Bar Mitzvah, as he returned on the 53rd day after being taken hostage, which is the number of the chapter- psalm 53. His name too, appears in the “Parashah“( the verse) “Yagel”, which means “Rejoice”.

May he rejoice with his family, with his friends, back home, safe, beginning a healing journey…..Yagel (rejoice) will he be forever!!!

The one all the way to the right, is my little miracle which comes out right on December 1st. If you are looking to be inspired by a gorgeous, thought provoking, a labor of love and art, come see Skunk Works, Nexus, a show of beautiful kids, ranging from 1st grade – high school, creating art that will leave you and your kiddos inspired; YOU KNOW I LIVE FOR THE ARTS!!!!

Yes, yes, my little personal light, ZOZO, with our very own Becky’s son( the mother of our secret “poet”) and Alexa’s ( Art for Wellness Teacher) daughter, amongs many talented souls- join us and start a month full of light!!!

I choose to be cynical about those who hold hypocrisy as the cover up to leaving a life, not following truth but what serves them and them only!!!!
However, when it comes to signs, I’m all ALL IN!!! Nothing ever lives in isolation and anything and everything is always connected…Always!!!

let this December be a Month of love, of light, of peace, of miracles and of HUMANITY !!!

And if of love we speak, a giant Mazal Tov to our very own, Ash and Roy, as our newly weds- may love and sacred friendship follows you FOREVER💙

I am the founder/owner of Neshama Yoga Studio—a sacred place for all to come, listen and  meet their one and only, unique SOUL (Neshama).

Revi-Lations was born out my students’ positive reactions to my weekly newsletter and different peeps along the way who kept urging me to think about a blog, a podcast or something in between.

Posting my newsletter on my website, is my natural “In Between“. We had a few names as potentials (Revi’s corner, Revi’s Soapbox and few more…), but it landed on Revi-Lations, by my gorgeous, talented, writer Sis-in-law, Lisa Barr (who has an open book with all my mistakes in English, saved for a day she needs to use it against me 😱.  I’m sure soon enough, you would too…).  I do hope you enjoy it and if it ever gets you through the day, drop a comment and let me know.

As always,
Love,
Only love,
Give love,
Be love –
Revi ♥️
