As I told you many times in the past, in class and in my newsletter, SIGNS ARE EVERYWHERE; in numbers, in music, in nature, in the people that come in and out of our lives, in our breath…..
IT IS UP TO US TO SEE!!!!
We need to be more aware, to do the spying, the tuning in and slowly to connect the dots into the powerful visible signs, directing us in the world of invisible realities. At best, most of us are good in seeing and interpreting signs, only in retrospect. But how many of us plant an intentional seed and from that point on, follow the “crumbs” the universe leaves so we can follow????
This can come in all shapes, colors and sizes; in a song which reminds you of someone, and it comes up in the radio ( or in my case, my apple shuffle), right when you plant a good seed for someone you love, and that song belongs to them? In needing a day to BE and the snow does not stop??? In seeing how smart friends, begin to play with numbers, becoming Nerds like you and text you “ he’s 20 in 22!” Referring to my oldest turning 20 yesterday and you feel so proud and you get them in on a deeper secret…..20 plus 22 is 42- HOME!!!
Remember the value of Jewish gematria with the number 42 – making it HOME????? Well, I was going to surprise my oldest in DC with his bookend, his little sister, who will be 9 on Sunday, but instead, “brought to you by OMICRON”, he was HOME!!!! Coincidence??? Some would say, but not I! I also didn’t want him to fly back today, why would he if school does not resume till Monday? Be HOME for your last Shabbat dinner, till spring break! And, did you watch the weather outside??? Coincidence? Have it anyway you want but…if you liked playing a spy as a kid, and loved word problems, Geometry proofs and pretty much wide open to “crack codes”, then there is no better place to play it, than in your own BOOK OF LIFE!!!!
