As we approach the Jewish New Year, the quote above by Albert Einstein feels suitable with my wish to you, to your loved ones…to the world!!
When Einstein claimed that “Small is the number of people who see with their own eyes and think with their own minds”, he was asking us all to think for OURSELVES!!! That it is not enough to just follow some set of rules constructed by others, but instead, to make our own, to pave our own path, to be leaders!
What YOU think, DOES matter!!!
What YOU know, NEEDS to be shared!!!
What YOU feel, IS legitimate!!!
What YOU ARE, serves!!!
What YOU say, influences ( for better or worse)!!!
What YOUR body knows, is REAL!!!
What Your SOUL whispers, is ancient wisdom!!!
What YOU think, you BECOME!!!!
Don’t underestimate advice from others, ever. However, asks your body, mind and soul if they are in agreement, if it feels right….if it serves!
If Einstein was my friend today, I would dare to ask his permission to add “ Small is the number…..their own minds AND HEARTS”. As we know now, a mind which collaborates with the heart, can move almost ANY MOUNTAIN!!!! The heart has it’s own secrets and is very very intelligent; it is the place where our “Neshama” lives…..BE A DREAMER!!!
I would further ask him if he also meant that when you are on your spiritual journey and endures what the eyes see and still thinks with you OWN mind AND heart, then you are doing life right and that you are soon to reach your OWN maximum potential. That you are being an active part of writing your story, instead of letting it writes itself.
Indeed, when in alignment, life seems to be writing itself and ALL IS flowing…COMING. But I am referring here to a life OUT of alignment, away from what serves you and the story. A story so passive, every page seems to repeats itself.
let’s not be SMALL or FEW this year. Let us encourage each other to create with a healthy blend of rules that are timeless and wise. To those let us add new rules, better rules, more relevant rules born of our own knowledge, experience, voice, merit and wisdom. Finally topping it all with a touch of compassionate heart and soul, dreaming our way out of things that were once thought of as impossible.
Let the few evolve into several, many….ALL!!!
