Since very early in my life, I loved picking up on signs the universe had sent me/us. I’d read about different philosophies, religions and any mystic/spiritual methods to support that “feel” in me, not always explained in words, or at least not in the current lifetime I was born into.
I LOVE NUMBERS and they have been a big “play” for me with relation to signs and meaning. This NEW YEAR and its numerical value in Jewish Gematria (a way of deducting meaning to words based on their letters with their assigned numerical value), is no different. 2022 sums up to 42 and together makes a word which has so much meaning to me, a word broader than we think, a word with so much spirituality, anchor, guidance, comfort……HOME!
My other love, to all things old – vintage clothing and jewelry, history, old houses (I live in a landmark which we bought on Skype, based on my “feel”……my hubby knows me), music and “old souls”; old people, those who came with stories, with wisdom, with CONTENT.
And so, I write to you on New Year’s Day, with my coffee, watching the old tree you can see attached. See, since we recently started exploring the south, something in me sparked; a feel, a lifeline of some sort, an increased PRANA (life force)….a knowing! Something about the ancient, strong trees here; what they’ve seen, heard, live through….speaks to me!!! I am able to tap into something old, some kind of ancestral line which come with such depth, such substance, some core connection…..HOME!
Here in New Orleans, this self exploration came to another turn, another piece of the puzzle was finally found! This thing I was called, so many times, “old soul”, was fully understood – I came from back then possibly, to bring others, here, in this lifetime….HOME!!!
Even watching the newest Spiderman movie with my crew here (a movie so central to my memories with my boys as little kids running around naked, with just a cape, spitting web on me as their villain) had something to do with what I’ve discovered. See, without ruining the movie for you, if you have not watched yet, the new Spider-Man meets with all his old and current villains, just to help them resolve and then….go back HOME.
What is your sense of “HOME”; what feels home, what calls home…..what do you tap into, to increase your personal life force???? If you are a “New Neshama“ – you begin now….build your home, make it lasting, solid, meaningful and open for others. If you are “OLD”, why are you back here? What is left for you to understand, to complete, to know….to offer!
GO HOME in 2022! It feels so so good – to be fully in your skin, in your energy, in your lifeline, in your fears even, in….YOU!!
