FAQs
NEW HERE?
I’m new to Yoga. Which class should I start with?
You don’t need to already be a yogi to begin your yoga journey. What matters most is your willingness to show up, stay curious, and listen to your body—not your ego.
Our teachers will meet you where you are and help you build your practice with greater awareness and confidence. Yoga is a practice, not a performance.
Come as you are—we’ll meet you exactly there.
What should I know before my first class?
Come ready to move and wear something comfortable. We’ll have the mats, blocks, straps, and other props you need—just bring a water bottle if you’d like one.
Arrive a few minutes early to find your spot and meet your teacher, especially if you’re new. Once you’re upstairs, shoes off, phone off, and let the magic unfold!
BOOKING YOUR PRACTICE
How do I reserve a class?
Booking a class is easy! Simply click “Book a Class” or visit our Schedule page to explore upcoming classes. Choose the class, date, and time that work best for you, then follow the prompts through our booking system, Momence, to reserve your mat. Once your reservation is complete, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your class details. We recommend booking ahead, as our studio has just 19 mats available per class.
What if the class I want is full?
If a class is full, you’ll automatically be added to the waitlist. If a spot opens up and you make it into class, you’ll be notified through Momence.
What is the cancellation policy?
Please cancel at least 12 hours before class. Cancellations made within 12 hours will be deducted from your class pack.
We understand that sometimes things happen outside of your control. If that’s the case, please reach out to Revi directly.
VISITING NESHAMA
Where is Neshama and where should I park?
Neshama is located at 823 15th Street in Wilmette. Street parking is available, but classes are often full, so give yourself a few extra minutes to find a spot.
Park on the street and look for the Neshama logo on the gate. Step inside, head straight to the yellow garage, open the door, and make your way upstairs. Your sanctuary awaits.
Please remember to close the gate behind you to help keep our dogs safe!
What if I’m running late or need to leave early?
Running late? No worries—just enter quietly and settle into your practice.
If you need to leave early, take a few moments for your own Savasana before quietly heading out, allowing the yogis around you to enjoy theirs.
Do you offer anything beyond weekly classes?
Yes! In addition to our weekly classes, Neshama offers Wednesday night pop-ups, Meditation + Yin, Yoga Nidra, Sound Healing, private Neshama Healing sessions, and more.
Offerings change throughout the year, so keep an eye on our Events & Workshops schedule to see what’s coming up next.
